Below are the CHAMPS payroll responsibilities of the teacher-coach, principal, payroll secretary, and OSWP:

  1. Creates student roster
  2. Records student attendance
  3. Submits per-session timesheet that corresponds to: 
    1. student daily sign-in sheet
    2. CHAMPS Manager App attendance
    3. timecard
  4. Manages balance of remaining CHAMPS allotted hours 
  1. Reviews hours on teacher-coach timesheets
    1. Ensures timesheet is signed by Principal/Supervisor
    2. Confirms with teacher-coach student attendance is entered via CHAMPS Manager App
  2. Uses CHAMPS location and Bulk Job Codes to process timesheets (See: Bulk Job Code Email)
  3. Files CHAMPS documents for possible school audit (i.e., Circular Vacancy; OP-175; timesheets; and timecards)
  1. Verifies payroll data submitted by payroll staff 
  2. Approves payroll data (Data in CHAMPS Manager = Timesheet entries
  3. Notifies Teacher-Coach via borough inbox if there are discrepancies; and follows up to reconcile payroll accordingly.


All 3 record sources must have the same dates and times in order for the Office of School Wellness Programs to approve the teacher-coach's payroll.
