The CHAMPS Sports and Fitness Program (CHAMPS) application period for elementary, middle, and District 75 schools for the 2023-2024 school year, Spring season is from Monday, April 8, through Friday, June 14, at 5:00 p.m.

The principal will be notified on how to prepare to apply and request funding for CHAMPS at their school.  Announcements may appear in Principals Digest and the School Wellness Weekly newsletter. Principals will complete a CHAMPS application for an activity to be conducted during the Spring season. Information about the spring season will be communicated at a later time and is subject to funding.  After the application period ends, there are no further opportunities to apply for or participate in CHAMPS for that season. 

Programs will be awarded proportionally across boroughs based on available funding. Schools with the highest-needs populations with chronic absentee rates and students in temporary housing will be prioritized.
