Steps to Add Student Attendance


A teacher-coach must maintain a minimum of 15 or more student participants on their roster and record attendance at the end of each activity session. The teacher-coach will make copies of the Daily student sign-in sheets (opens in a new browser window). Student-participants will fill out the daily sign-in sheet each time they attend a CHAMPS session. The daily student sign in sheets must be kept in the CHAMPS Program Binder (opens in a new browser window). Next, the teacher-coach will use the "signed student sheets" to upload the attendance via the CHAMPS Manager App.

Student-participants must sign-in each time they attend a supervised CHAMPS session using the Daily student sign-in sheets (opens in a new browser window)

Note: Teacher-coaches must instruct student-participants to sign in at the beginning of the CHAMPS session. Coaches may not use student checklists or bubble sheets to record student attendance.
Teacher-coach will use the daily student sign in sheets to record student attendance online using the CHAMPS Manager App.

Note: Accurate and up-to-date student attendance records are needed; to approve teacher-coach timesheets. Failure to submit timely attendance records will delay payroll.


Below are the steps to record and upload student attendance:

  1. Log into the Wellness Hub (opens in a new browser window)  
  2. On the Wellness Hub homepage, under Internal Apps, click on the "CHAMPS Manager app icon." The CHAMPS Manager App icon is circled on the Wellness Hub homepage.
  3. At the CHAMPS Manager homepage, click on the "Add Attendance" tile.




  4. Activity: From the "Select Program" drop-down menu select the activity for which you are adding attendance.
  5. Click the "Add Attendance" button.

  6. Session: Select the session from the "Select Session" drop-down menu. A picture of the Session dropdown.
  7. Date and Start Time: From the "Date and Start Time" menu, click the "Calendar Button" and select the date for which you are entering attendance. 
    • Start Time: Selecting a date automatically inserts a start time. Time entered must be divisible by 15. The calendar icon is circled on the Attendance Page. 
    • End Time: Click the "Time menu" button, and select the end time you want to enter. The clock icon is circled on the Attendance Page.
  8. Student Roster: On the "Student Roster" table, click the check boxes of students who attended the session, then click the "Add Session and Attendance" button at the bottom of the page.
